Families often experience transition and readjustment following a veteran’s return home from war. Reintegration takes time for both the veteran and the family. Some veterans and family members struggle during this transition and have difficulties that don’t lessen over time. Counselors experienced in military transitions assist individual family members as well as provide family support services.
