Group Only Therapy
Group therapy is a cost-effective, clinically sound option of care for many individuals.
Pikes Peak Behavioral Health Group provides group services that deliver evidence-based treatment to meet a child's social and emotional needs. There are a number of groups for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Reactive attachment Disorder, social skills, anger management, Dialectic Behavior Treatment, behavioral difficulties and many more.
There are situations where families only require one specific support. In the case of group therapy, a group only model has been developed.
Clients ages 0-18 open to an El Paso County Child Placement Agency and/or the Department of Human Services who request group services can access this service in addition to those receiving mental health treatment provided by an external agency or therapist.
Eligibility Criteria:
Ages 0-18. Clients ages 0-18 open to an El Paso County Child Placement Agency and/or the Department of Human Services. Children who are receiving mental health treatment provided by an external agency may also be eligible for this service.

Hours
Varies according to group. Day and night groups available.
